Mindcatcher is a vibrant Double IPA that showcases an intense tropical profile driven by Nectaron and Citra hops. The aroma is a lush explosion of ripe peach, passion fruit, and bright grapefruit zest, supported by the concentrated punch of Citra Incognito. Its appearance is characteristically hazy with a soft, glowing orange hue and a dense, creamy white head. The palate follows the nose, delivering layered stone fruit and citrus flavors with a firm, integrated bitterness. A smooth, medium-full body provides a plush foundation for the 8% ABV, finishing with a clean, lingering resonance of resinous hop oils.
Appearance. Pale gold to light orange (6–9 SRM). Opaque haze with a thick, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of peach, nectarine, and passion fruit from Nectaron, alongside grapefruit and lime zest from Citra. Background of subtle grainy malt and a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression of juicy tropical fruits and citrus. Strong hop flavors dominated by stone fruit and resin. Moderately high bitterness that is firm but lacks harshness. Soft, supportive malt character with a medium-dry finish and a long, fruity aftertaste.
