This celebratory American Pale Ale is crafted to mark Tartu 2024, delivering a sensory experience defined by its unique use of rye and vibrant orchard fruit. The beer pours a luminous pale gold with a soft, frothy white head. The aroma is highly expressive, featuring distinct notes of ripe yellow plum, juicy pear, and peach, underscored by a subtle, peppery rye graininess. On the palate, the experience is notably creamy and soft, where a gentle malty sweetness is masterfully balanced by the characteristic light tartness of rye and a mild, refreshing hop bitterness. It is a light-bodied, exceptionally clean, and nuanced ale.

Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 6 SRM). Moderately large, frothy white head with good retention and delicate lacing. Generally clear, though it may exhibit a slight, soft haze from the rye proteins.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Pronounced esters of ripe yellow fruits including pear, peach, and yellow plum. Supported by a low, grainy-sweet malt presence with a distinctive spicy, peppery rye character. Clean fermentation profile with very low floral hop notes.

Taste. Initial impression of soft, fruity sweetness. The malt profile is bready with a noticeable spicy rye flavor. Hop bitterness is low to moderate, providing just enough structure to balance the malty and fruity core. A gentle, refreshing acidity from the rye malts cuts through the creaminess. The finish is medium-dry, clean, and refreshing with lingering notes of stone fruit.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a characteristic creamy, soft texture derived from the rye. Moderate to high carbonation. No alcohol warmth. Smooth finish without any harshness or grain-derived astringency.
