Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring bright citrus notes of grapefruit and lime from Citra, backed by a gentle pine and resinous undertone from Simcoe. Low grainy malt sweetness provides a neutral foundation. Clean fermentation profile with very low fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression is light and citrusy. Flavors of soft lemon and orange zest transition into a mild, herbal pine character from Cascade. Low to moderate bitterness is present but restrained. Clean, neutral malt flavor supports the hops without adding caramel. Finish is dry and crisp with a brief, clean aftertaste of citrus pith.
