Overtone’s Haus reinterprets the traditional Weissbier with a modern, vibrant pulse. This hazy, golden pour layers the classic clove-like spice and ripe banana esters of a traditional hefeweizen yeast with a contemporary hop twist. The addition of Cashmere hops introduces nuanced layers of soft lemon, lime, and subtle melon, elevating the aromatic profile beyond the historical baseline. A grist of malted wheat and Pilsner malt provides a soft, doughy foundation and a notably full-bodied, creamy texture. Effervescent and refreshing, it balances traditional German soft spice with a bright, citrus-forward finish that echoes the energy of its house music inspiration.

Appearance. SRM 3-5. Deep straw to pale gold. Highly hazy with a characteristic yeast and wheat shine. Features a very thick, moussy, and long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity. Prominent ripe banana esters and spicy clove phenols are well-balanced with a bready, doughy wheat character. The Cashmere hops contribute secondary notes of lemon zest, lime, and faint honeydew melon. No bubblegum or smoke notes.

Taste. Initial impression of creamy wheat and sweet banana. Low bitterness allows the soft, grainy wheat and bready Pilsner malt to shine. Hop flavors of lemon and light tropical fruit from Cashmere hops integrate with the spicy clove phenols. The finish is relatively dry, clean, and refreshing with lingering fruity esters.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notably fluffy, creamy texture. High carbonation provides an effervescent and spritzy mouthfeel. Very low alcohol warmth and no astringency.
