Shrine is a vibrant, session-focused American Pale Ale crafted in collaboration with the band Bleed From Within. Despite its approachable 4% ABV, it delivers a massive hop profile driven by Citra and Citra Cryo. These varieties, bolstered by the tropical intensity of Cryo Pop and the resinous backbone of Simcoe, create a layered sensory experience of zesty grapefruit, ripe stone fruit, and subtle pine. A lean, pale malt base allows the hop-derived notes of lime and passionfruit to lead the palate, finishing crisp and refreshing. This modern take on the style balances high drinkability with the bold, aromatic character expected of a classic craft pale.

Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 5 SRM) with a moderately large, frothy white head that exhibits good retention and fine lacing. Generally clear with a brilliant shimmer.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of citrus peel, lime, and tropical passionfruit from the Citra. Cryo Pop adds a complex stone fruit and berry medley, while Simcoe provides a complementary resinous pine and slight earthiness. Low grainy-sweet malt supports the hops.

Taste. Initial citrus and tropical fruit flavors dominate, echoing the hop-forward aroma with notes of grapefruit and mango. Moderate bitterness provides structure without being harsh. The malt profile is neutral and bready, facilitating a medium-dry finish. Hop flavors of lime and pine linger briefly in a clean, crisp aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation. Overall smooth and refreshing finish without astringency or any perceptible alcohol warmth.
