Pretty Weisse presents a vibrant, fruit-forward interpretation of a Berliner Weisse, amplified by a robust 7% ABV. A lush golden ratio of sour cherries, boysenberries, and red currants transforms the classic profile into a vivid sensory experience. The aroma is dominated by sharp lactic acidity and a punchy bouquet of dark red berries and stone fruit. On the palate, a clean, tart snap from the red currants and sour cherries balances a subtle, doughy wheat backbone. The finish is remarkably crisp and tart, with the boysenberries providing a lingering depth that offsets the refreshing acidity characteristic of this modern wheat ale.

Appearance. Deep pink to ruby red in color; large, dense, light-pink tinted head with poor retention; hazy to opaque due to heavy fruit additions and wheat proteins.

Aroma. High intensity of sharply sour lactic acid; dominant notes of jammy boysenberry, bright sour cherry, and tart red currant; a light background of sourdough bread and raw dough from the wheat malt; no hop aroma.

Taste. Initial impression is sharply tart and acidic; clean lactic sourness dominates, supported by a grainy, doughy wheat malt flavor. Intense fruit flavors of tart red currant and cherry provide a citrus-like zing, while boysenberries offer a slightly sweeter, berry-skin complexity. Bitterness is undetectable, with acidity providing the balance. The finish is very dry and refreshing with a lingering berry tartness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; high carbonation with a prickly, effervescent sensation; noticeable alcohol warmth due to the elevated ABV; crisp acidity with a very light tannic astringency from the fruit skins.
