This Double IPA is a singular showcase of the El Dorado hop, delivering a thick, lush sensory experience that leans into a modern juicy profile. A triple dry-hopping regimen results in a saturating aroma of ripe pineapple and sweet pear, supported by nuances of watermelon and soft stone fruits. On the palate, the hop intensity is profound, balancing firm bitterness with a soft, supportive malt foundation that avoids the heavy sweetness of a barleywine. The 8% ABV is seamlessly integrated, providing a gentle warmth that enhances the tropical fruit expressions while maintaining the smooth, high drinkability characteristic of the style.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (8-12 SRM). Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with good lacing. Appearance exhibits a slight haze consistent with heavy dry-hopping.

Aroma. Intense hop-forward bouquet dominated by tropical pineapple, ripe pear, and distinct watermelon notes. Secondary aromatics of stone fruit and subtle resin are supported by a clean, neutral, grainy malt background and a light, smooth alcohol presence.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of pineapple, pear, and nectarine. Bitterness is moderately high but remains smooth and lacks harshness. A clean, soft malt character provides enough support to prevent a thin mouthfeel. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering fruity hop character and a clean, bitter aftertaste.
