This Double IPA delivers a high-definition sensory experience through a saturated high-density hop charge. El Dorado Incognito and El Dorado Cryo provide intense layers of tropical pineapple and stone fruit candy, while Citra Cryo adds sharp bursts of bright grapefruit and lime zest. Cashmere rounds out the profile with softer, futuristic notes of ripe melon and peach. Despite the 8% ABV, the beer remains soothing and euphoric, supported by a clean, neutral malt base that allows the hop oils to resonate without being weighed down. A firm but smooth bitterness balances the finish, creating a punchy and unforgettable profile that is as vibrant as its musical inspiration.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (8 SRM). Moderate haze from high-density hop additions. Large, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring punchy pineapple, candied stone fruit, and zesty citrus. Secondary notes of melon and light herbal coconut. Malt character is low and neutral, presenting as light crackers or grain.

Taste. Initial impression is a wave of saturated tropical fruit and citrus oils. Strong flavors of pineapple, grapefruit, and ripe peach dominate. Moderately high bitterness provides a firm structure but remains smooth and lacking harshness. The finish is dry with a lingering hoppy aftertaste of resin and melon. Fermentation is clean with very light fruity esters.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture from the hop oil density. Moderate carbonation. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth provides a soothing sensation without being solventy or hot.

Higher Resolution is the first one that Overtone have used the High Density Hop Charge (HDHC) technique in one of their beers. It’s a technique created by Other Half in the US that combines hop pellets, frozen hops and hop oils to infuse the beer with maximum flavour and remove vegetal ‘green’ notes that sometimes comes with beers brewed with hop leaves. Hops: El Dorado Incognito, El Dorado Cryo, Citra Cryo, Cashmere.
