This Ordinary Bitter presents a vibrant, zesty character inspired by its musical namesake. A crisp, bready malt base provides the foundation for an assertive hop profile featuring Talus, Citrus, and Columbus hops. The Talus hops contribute unique notes of pink grapefruit and dried roses, while the Citrus hops add bright, zesty accents. Columbus grounds the aromatic profile with a resinous, earthy depth. Despite its sessionable intent, the beer delivers a firm bitterness and a dry finish, balancing classic British structure with modern, punchy hop intensity for a refreshing and upbeat sensory experience.

Appearance. Pale amber with brilliant clarity. Features a low to moderate off-white head with fair retention.

Aroma. Moderate intensity with a bready and lightly toasty malt backbone. Prominent hop aromas of citrus zest, floral rose, and a hint of resinous pine from the use of Talus, Citrus, and Columbus hops. Mild fruity fermentation esters complement the hop character.

Taste. Decidedly bitter initial impression. Bready and biscuity malt flavors are balanced by a zesty hop profile.
