Glimmer presents as a vibrant Wild Specialty Beer, masterfully balancing the zesty, citrus-forward bite of lime with the deep, jammy undertones of blueberry. Despite its sessionable 3.5% ABV, this sour delivers a surprising depth of flavor where a clean lactic tartness acts as a canvas for the fruit. The aroma leads with bright lime peel, followed by a soft, earthy berry sweetness. On the palate, the lime provides a refreshing acidity that cuts through the initial berry roundness, finishing clean with a lingering fruity brightness that defines its easy-drinking, melodic character, perfectly capturing the spirit of a balanced session ale.

Appearance. SRM 7-12; displays a striking hazy pink to soft violet hue. The head is moderate in height, tinted a light rose color, with fair retention and minimal lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity; dominant notes of fresh lime zest and citrus oil are layered over a sweet, jammy blueberry profile. A light lactic tartness provides a clean, acidic backdrop, while very low doughy malt notes hide in the background.

Taste. The initial impression is one of bright, zesty lime acidity followed quickly by the rounder, fruity sweetness of blueberries. Malt flavor is low, suggesting soft wheat or crackers. Hop bitterness is essentially absent, allowing the lactic and citric sourness to provide the balance. The finish is off-dry and crisp with a lingering berry-skin character.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; the low alcohol is supported by the addition of fruit solids, preventing a watery feel. Carbonation is moderate to high, providing a prickly, refreshing sensation. Astringency is very low, with no perceptible alcohol warmth.
