Overtone’s FOUR CANDLES! is a vibrant American Pale Ale designed for high drinkability and sensory impact. This sessionable ale leverages a heavy double dry-hop addition of Simcoe, Vic Secret, Mosaic, and Motueka to create a profile defined by lush tropical fruit. The Mosaic Cryo and Motueka drive an intense aromatic burst of passion fruit and mango, followed by a sharp, refreshing twist of lime. A lean, neutral malt base allows the complex New World hop character to remain at the forefront, resulting in a crisp, hop-forward experience that emphasizes fruit-forward modern brewing techniques while maintaining a classic, clean finish.

Appearance. Pale golden color (5-7 SRM) with a slight, modern haze from the double dry-hopping. It features a moderately large, persistent white head with excellent retention and delicate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring prominent notes of ripe mango, passion fruit, and bright lime zest. Subtle background hints of pine and stone fruit are supported by a low, clean, grainy malt character and very low fruity fermentation esters.

Taste. Initial flavors of tropical fruit dominate, led by mango and passion fruit. A distinct citrus lime character emerges mid-palate, transitioning into a moderate hop bitterness that balances a light, cracker-like malt sweetness. The finish is dry and clean, with a lingering aftertaste of tropical fruit and a soft resinous quality.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, refreshing character. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. No alcohol warmth is present, and the beer remains smooth with no hop-derived astringency.
