This luscious Double IPA delivers an intense, saturated hop experience driven by a massive charging of Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, Citra, and Galaxy hops. Creamy oats and lactose build a velvety, dense yellow-gold pour, releasing a torrent of sweet passionfruit, ripe mango, and vibrant blueberry aromas. On the palate, the sticky tropical fruit sweetness is balanced by a subtle, damp earthiness and a soft, supporting resinous bitterness. Despite its potent strength, the alcohol warmth remains wonderfully smooth and integrated, finishing with a lingering, juicy, fruit-forward complexity that masks its formidable gravity behind a soft, pillowy texture.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (8 SRM) with a thick, persistent, creamy white head that leaves dense, sticky lacing. Opaque and heavily hazy, presenting a modern, juice-like visual profile.
Aroma. Intense aroma dominated by sweet tropical fruits like ripe mango and passionfruit, layered with citrus peel and mixed wild berries. A subtle, dank, and earthy undertone is present. Low, clean, neutral malt is supportively masked by sweet lactose notes and a hint of warm, clean alcohol.
Taste. Opens with an immediate burst of sweet, juicy mango, tropical passionfruit, and blueberry hop flavors. A low but supportive pale malt flavor is enriched by creaminess from lactose. Hop bitterness is moderate but exceptionally smooth, devoid of harshness, leading to a moderately sweet, highly juicy finish with lingering tropical fruit flavors and soft alcohol warmth.
Mouthfeel. Full, velvety, and exceptionally creamy body due to the heavy use of oats and lactose. Carbonation is moderate, creating a pillowy texture. Noticeable but well-integrated, smooth alcohol warmth is present, with absolutely no harsh hop-derived astringency.
