This Hazy IPA showcases a vibrant cross-continental collaboration of flavors. The nose is dominated by the New Zealand influence of Rakau and Super Sauvin hops, delivering intense bursts of ripe mango and sweet peach alongside refined notes of orchard pear. The sensory experience is anchored by a soft, bready malt presence that allows the complex tropical and stone fruit esters to shine. On the palate, the hop-forward profile remains remarkably juicy, avoiding harshness while maintaining a delicate, supportive bitterness. It concludes with a smooth, velvety finish, epitomizing the lush, fruit-driven character of the style through a well-integrated 6.9% ABV.
Appearance. Deep straw to light gold (SRM 4-6) with a heavy, opaque haze that provides a characteristic luminescent shine. Features a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and substantial lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent mango, peach, and tropical fruit notes, complemented by a unique vinous and pear-like undertone from the New World hops. Supported by a clean, lightly bready and grainy malt backbone with no caramel or toast present.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with mango, peach, and ripe pear leading the profile. Malt provides a low-intensity, doughy foundation that balances the hop oils. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as soft and rounded, never lingering or sharp. The finish is off-dry and exceptionally smooth with a juicy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, plush, and rounded texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a smooth delivery without any prickly harshness or astringency. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
