This Hazy IPA showcases a vibrant sensory landscape driven by the thoughtful interplay of Mosaic and Hallertau Mittelfruh hops. A punchy tropical bouquet of juicy pineapple and wild blueberry greets the nose, underpinned by a refined, resinous pine character. The grain bill provides a soft, bready foundation that supports the intense hop saturations without adding distracting sweetness or heavy caramel notes. On the palate, the blend of modern fruitiness and noble-hop earthiness creates a complex profile where forest floor notes balance the bright, sun-ripened fruit. It concludes with a silky finish and a restrained bitterness that highlights the beer’s lush, approachable nature.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold (SRM 4) with a luminous, opaque haze. Features a thick, persistent, meringue-like white head with high retention and dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by fresh pineapple, crushed blueberries, and a subtle floral-herbal undertone. Clean, lightly bready malt sits in the background with neutral fermentation esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical pineapple and dark berry flavors, quickly followed by a cooling pine resin character. Low to medium-high perceived bitterness that is well-masked by the malt, finishing soft and off-dry with a lingering fruit-skin aftertaste.
