Valley Views is a quintessential Hazy IPA that showcases a sophisticated interplay between Mosaic and Talus hops. The sensory journey begins with an explosion of tropical fruit, led by Mosaic’s signature notes of ripe mango and juicy blueberry. This evolves into a unique floral and citrus complexity as Talus introduces layers of pink grapefruit and dried rose petals. Against a backdrop of soft, bready malt, the hop profile remains vibrant without being harsh. The experience concludes with a pillowy, smooth texture and a restrained bitterness that allows the lush fruit character to linger elegantly on the palate.
Appearance. Straw to light amber (4–6 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze and a luminescent shine. Topped by a dense, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity with a bouquet of tropical fruit and citrus. Prominent blueberry and papaya from the Mosaic hops pair with the distinctive pink grapefruit and subtle floral sage notes of Talus. Background notes of crackery, bready malt are present, with a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Massively hop-forward, delivering flavors of sweet mango, stone fruit, and grapefruit pith. The Mosaic contribution offers a berry-like depth, while Talus adds a resinous rose and citrus complexity. Malt flavor is low and lightly bready, supporting a medium-low bitterness that feels soft and integrated. The finish is off-dry and juicy.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and smooth texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift, while the 7.1% ABV provides a very light, well-integrated warmth. No astringency or harshness.
