This Hazy IPA offers a saturated sensory experience driven by a double dry-hopped addition of Strata, Citra, and Simcoe. The aroma leads with a signature dankness and bright grapefruit zest, transitioning into a lush, tropical palate. Strata provides complex layers of passion fruit and herbal resin, while Citra reinforces the citrus backbone. Simcoe adds a sophisticated evergreen and pine resin depth that balances the softer, bready malt profile. With its opaque appearance and creamy, soft texture, this beer showcases a modern hop profile where intense fruitiness and forest-like aromatics harmonize without harsh bitterness, finishing with a clean, lingering citrus oil note.
Appearance. Straw to light orange with an opaque, hazy clarity that provides a characteristic shine. Features a medium, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by grapefruit, tropical passion fruit, and a distinctively dank, herbal quality. Background notes of pine resin are supported by a clean, neutral, lightly bready malt character. Fermentation esters are supportive and fruity without being cloying.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with notes of grapefruit and resinous pine. Low to medium-low bready malt flavor provides a foundation for the hops.
