Wildfires is a focused American IPA that exemplifies the resinous, hop-forward character of the West Coast. A pungent combination of Idaho 7, Columbus, and Comet hops delivers a multi-layered sensory experience. The profile opens with a bright burst of citrus marmalade and sharp grapefruit, followed by the richness of ripe mango. These tropical elements are grounded by intense notes of pine needles and a dank, sticky resin. A clean malt backbone supports the aggressive bitterness, ensuring the hop complexity remains the focal point. The experience concludes with a crisp, dry finish and a lingering aftertaste of citrus zest and forest floor.

Appearance. Medium gold to light amber color (SRM 6-12). The beer displays clear to slightly hazy clarity and is crowned with a persistent, medium-sized white head that leaves attractive lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a pungent blend of grapefruit and citrus marmalade. Complementary notes of ripe mango and pineapple are layered over a base of sharp pine needles and dank, resinous earthiness. Malt is low and clean, providing a light, crackery foundation.

Taste. Strong initial hop flavors of bitter grapefruit and orange peel. The mid-palate introduces tropical mango and a deep, resinous pine character. Bitterness is firm and high, balancing a low, grainy malt sweetness. The finish is dry and crisp, with a lingering, clean hop bitterness and echoes of citrus resin.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth, slightly resinous texture. Carbonation is medium-high, contributing a lively and refreshing mouthfeel. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated without any harshness.
