Outer Place Brewing

This Session IPA offers a vibrant sensory experience that belies its lower alcohol content, acting as a refreshing tropical juice bomb. The aromatic profile is driven by a heavy-handed addition of Columbus, Azacca, and Cascade hops, bursting with notes of sun-ripened pineapple, zesty grapefruit, and fresh orange. Its hazy appearance leads into a palate where soft, grainy malt supports a clean, pithy bitterness. Every sip remains crisp and highly drinkable, delivering the bold hop-forward character typical of a modern American IPA but in a more accessible, sessionable format that finishes exceptionally clean and bright.

Appearance. Pale gold (approx. 5 SRM) with a distinct, hazy clarity. Features a medium-sized, white, persistent head with moderate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of pineapple, grapefruit, and orange citrus. Low, clean, grainy-sweet malt provides a subtle backdrop. Fermentation is clean with very low yeast-derived esters, allowing the Columbus, Azacca, and Cascade hops to dominate.

Taste. Medium-high hop flavor showcasing tropical fruit and citrus peel. Low grainy maltiness provides balance without residual sweetness. Bitterness is moderate but presents as soft and pithy. The finish is dry, crisp, and clean, with a lingering hop-derived fruitiness in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, slightly soft texture. Medium-high carbonation enhances the crisp, refreshing character. No alcohol warmth or astringency is present.
