Otter Creek’s Bonus Stage is a modern Hazy IPA that showcases the brewery's technical mastery of dry-hopping and stable haze. This pour offers an intense sensory experience driven by lush tropical fruit, stone fruit, and vibrant citrus notes. The profile is defined by its juicy character, supported by a subtle, grainy-sweet malt backbone that stays in the background. With a soft, pillowy body and restrained bitterness, it emphasizes a smooth, approachable finish that prioritizes hop depth over sharp edges, delivering a crushable yet complex expression of New World hops that defines the style.
Appearance. Straw to deep gold (4–6 SRM). Opaque, uniform haze provides a soft shine without being murky. Topped by a dense, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity of ripe mango, pineapple, and pulpy orange. Subtle notes of nectarine and peach esters emerge as it warms. Malt is clean and lightly bready, while the fermentation profile remains neutral to slightly fruity, ensuring no grassy or herbal distractions.
Taste. Explodes with tropical fruit flavors, primarily passionfruit and tangerine. The malt provides a low, grainy-bready support without any caramel sweetness.
