Vienna Lager 5.2 º 21 IBU
This classic Munich Helles highlights the elegant marriage of high-quality Austrian and Czech Pilsen malt with traditional Hallertauer hops. It pours a brilliant pale gold with a persistent white head, releasing aromas of fresh grainy-sweetness and a subtle herbal, green hop note characteristic of its regional origins. On the palate, it is exceptionally smooth and refreshing, led by a rounded malty start that transitions into a clean, balanced middle. The finish is defined by a soft, integrated bitterness that provides structure without harshness, leaving a crisp, lingering impression of well-attenuated malt and floral hop character.
Appearance. Pale gold to golden yellow (3–5 SRM); brilliant clarity with a generous, creamy white head and excellent retention.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring grainy-sweet Pilsen malt aromas. Low to moderate-low floral and herbal hop notes from Hallertauer. Exceptionally clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial impression is moderately malty with a suggestion of grain-like sweetness. Soft, rounded palate where the malt dominates but is balanced by a low to medium-low bitterness. Hop flavors are floral and slightly spicy. Finishes soft and dry rather than crisp, with a pleasant, lingering malty aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, well-lagered character. Moderate carbonation provides a refreshing lift without being sharp. No perceived alcohol warmth or astringency.
