This Wild Specialty Beer is a vibrant, sensory-rich expression of the Norwegian farmhouse tradition, utilizing a raw, unhopped brewing process to preserve a lush, textural body. Intense aromas of sun-ripened Alphonso mango dominate the profile, supported by tropical layers of creamy coconut and tangy passionfruit. A subtle floral honey note threads through the bouquet, providing a delicate counterpoint to the bright, lactic acidity. Appearance. Opaque, glowing orange-gold (SRM 7-9) with a visible density from the fruit puree; pours with a thin, white head that dissipates quickly to a fine collar.
Aroma. High intensity of fresh Alphonso mango and passionfruit esters; secondary notes of creamy coconut and floral honey. Clean lactic acidity is present, with a doughy, raw grain malt character and no hop aroma.
Taste. Leading with a bright, clean lactic sourness and an explosion of ripe mango fruit. The raw malt base provides a doughy, honey-sweet foundation that balances the acidity. Tropical coconut and passionfruit notes emerge mid-palate. Zero hop bitterness; finishes dry and tart with a lingering fruit-skin aftertaste.
