This assertive Double IPA delivers a concentrated West Coast experience, defined by a resinous forest floor character and vibrant citrus. The combination of Simcoe, Chinook, and whole juniper berries creates an intense, multilayered pine and resin profile, while Centennial and Idaho 7 provide bright bursts of grapefruit and sweet orange. Despite its 8.1% strength, the beer remains remarkably drinkable, supported by a lean, neutral malt backbone that allows the aggressive bitterness to shine. A distinctly dry, bittersweet finish cleanses the palate, leaving a lingering trail of citrus pith and evergreen spice.

Appearance. Clear, deep gold to light copper (8–10 SRM). Persistent, off-white, creamy head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop-forward aroma dominated by resinous pine, crushed juniper, and zesty grapefruit. Secondary notes of sweet orange and a hint of floral spice. Malt is very low and neutral, offering just a trace of grainy sweetness. Clean fermentation profile.

Taste. High hop bitterness that is firm but not harsh. Prominent flavors of grapefruit pith, resinous pine, and herbal juniper. Subtle supportive notes of tangerine and orange marmalade. The malt presence is minimal, providing a clean, soft canvas. Finish is dry and bittersweet with a long, resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from hop resins. Moderate to high carbonation. A gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, enhancing the overall intensity without being solventy.
