KARKINOS presents a sophisticated interplay of spice and spirit, grounding freshly grated ginger against a refined malt backdrop. The aroma is dominated by citrusy ginger and a delicate whisper of Benrinnes Whisky, offering notes of oak and soft malt. On the palate, a light, clean malt base with subtle caramel sweetness provides the foundation for the ginger's deep, spicy warmth. Three months in whisky casks impart a subtle vanillic depth, while a measured addition of Orange Habanero contributes a bright, fruity snap rather than overwhelming heat. This Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer finishes refreshing and dry, with a lingering, pleasant tingle.

Appearance. Pours a clear, deep gold to light amber (8-10 SRM) with a fine-textured, off-white head that shows moderate retention and light lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity; prominent zesty ginger with distinct citrus overtones. Low notes of toasted oak and a hint of Highland whisky esters from the Benrinnes casks. Minimal hop aroma, allowing the Orange Habanero's floral chili scent and light caramel malt to emerge.

Taste. Initial impression is a crisp ginger brightness followed by a light caramel malt sweetness. The ginger flavor is deep and authentic, harmonizing with a soft whisky-driven complexity.
