St Sureau offers an elegant, floral twist on the classic Belgian Golden Strong Ale. This effervescent beer leads with a delicate bouquet of elderflower, which complements the signature pome fruit esters—specifically pear—derived from the fruity Belgian yeast. A nearly neutral base of Pilsner malt provides a crisp, grainy backdrop for the herbal, spicy Continental hop character. Despite its lower-than-typical ABV, it maintains the style's characteristic high attenuation and sparkling carbonation, resulting in a remarkably dry and refreshing finish.
