This Double IPA showcases a saturated hop profile driven by Galaxy T-90 pellets and a ruthless dry-hop addition of Cashmere, Citra, Mosaic, and Loral cryo hops. The aroma is an explosion of tropical passion fruit and zesty grapefruit, while Mosaic provides signature berry notes and Loral adds a refined floral nuance. On the palate, layers of mango and lime from Citra and Cashmere dominate a lean, neutral malt base. At 8% ABV, the beer delivers a well-integrated warmth alongside firm, clean bitterness. It finishes dry and crisp, leaving a lingering resinous and tropical impression that defines this modern, hop-forward masterpiece.
Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange (SRM 7-9) with a slight, modern haze. Displays a moderate-sized, persistent, white creamy head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Intense hop bouquet featuring prominent tropical fruit, passion fruit, and mango. Sharp citrus notes of grapefruit and lime are layered with subtle blueberry and a delicate floral, herbal undertone. Low, neutral grainy malt sweetness persists in the background with a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of pineapple, citrus zest, and stone fruit dominate the palate. High bitterness is firm and clean, providing a structural counterpoint to the soft, unobtrusive crackery malt character. Finishes dry to medium-dry with a lingering, resinous, and fruity aftertaste. A smooth, light alcohol presence is detectable.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively mouth-coating effect. Includes a restrained, smooth alcohol warmth and no harsh hop-derived astringency.
