This Double IPA from Other Half showcases a masterclass in the synergy between Citra and Mosaic hops. Poured into the glass, it radiates an intense perfume of tropical fruit, driven by Citra's hallmark grapefruit and mango notes. Mosaic complements this with a complex layer of blueberry and stone fruit. Despite its 8.5% strength, the malt profile remains a subtle, supportive backbone of neutral grains, allowing the massive hop saturation to take center stage. Expect a vibrant, fruit-forward experience that finishes with a firm but clean bitterness, embodying the modern spirit of a bold, aromatic, and highly drinkable Imperial IPA.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (7–10 SRM). Displays a slight, modern haze typical of the brewery, topped by a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma dominated by tropical notes of mango, papaya, and citrus zest from the Citra. Mosaic provides a complex layer of blueberry and light floral spice. Malt is low and clean, offering a neutral grainy backdrop with no caramel. Fermentation is clean and free of heavy esters.

Taste. Initial impression is a blast of juicy tropical fruit, tangerine, and melon. High hop bitterness is firm but smooth, avoiding harshness. Low, supportive malt character provides a soft, crackery base. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, resinous, and fruit-skin aftertaste. A light, clean alcohol flavor is present but well-integrated.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Moderate carbonation. Features a noticeable, pleasant alcohol warmth that is well-restrained. No hop-derived astringency.
