This Double IPA is a lush, tropical exploration of Bru-1 and Mosaic hops, underpinned by the creamy additions of oats and lactose. The sensory profile is dominated by an intense bouquet of fresh pineapple, ripe mango, and sweet blueberries. On the palate, the heavy dry-hop load delivers layers of stone fruit and citrus zest, balanced by a soft, pillowy mouthfeel. The lactose provides a delicate residual sweetness that smooths out the firm bitterness, leading to a velvety finish. At 8.5% ABV, it offers a gentle alcohol warmth that enhances the expansive, sun-drenched tropical fruit character and maximum silkiness.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange; opaque, milky haze; dense, creamy, persistent white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant notes of sweet pineapple and stone fruit from the Bru-1, coupled with mango, passion fruit, and a hint of blueberry from the Mosaic. Low, neutral malt background with a faint creamy sweetness.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit punch and citrus. Moderate hop bitterness is present but softened significantly by the lactose and oat proteins. The mid-palate is rich with pineapple and melon flavors. The finish is long and fruity with a well-integrated, clean alcohol presence and a smooth, non-harsh aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied with a velvety, creamy, and viscous texture. Moderate carbonation. Noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth. Extremely low astringency despite the massive dry-hop addition.
