Rizz is a vibrant Hazy IPA that exemplifies modern hop expression with a 7% ABV punch. A trio of Citra, Simcoe, and Galaxy hops drives an intense sensory profile dominated by ripe peach, tropical passion fruit, and bright citrus zest. This New England-style ale presents a glowing, opaque appearance and a remarkably soft, silky texture. The malt base remains unobtrusive, providing a subtle grainy foundation that allows the lush, juicy hop layers to lead. It finishes with a gentle, restrained bitterness, making it an effortlessly smooth and personality-driven pour that prioritizes fruit character over sharp edges.
Appearance. Color ranges from deep straw to light orange (approx. 5 SRM). Opaque with a characteristic hazy shine; topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with very high retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent stone fruit (peach), tropical passion fruit, and citrus zest. Low, neutral malt presence offers a light bready or grainy quality. Clean fermentation with supportive fruity esters that harmonize with the Citra, Simcoe, and Galaxy hop notes.
Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with layers of peach and tropical juice. Low, neutral malt flavor supports the hops without adding toast or caramel. Perceived bitterness is moderate but masked by the soft body, leading to an off-dry, smooth finish. The hop character in the aftertaste is juicy and devoid of harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky, and smooth texture. Moderate carbonation. Light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but subtle. No astringency or raw starch texture; remarkably drinkable and creamy.
