This Hazy IPA presents a vibrant sensory journey, lead by an explosive tropical fruit profile. The use of Idaho-7 drives intense aromas of pineapple and mango, while Citra contributes a bright, zesty citrus backbone that keeps the palate refreshed. A sophisticated layer of exotic fruit and subtle garden herbs emerges from the Ekuanot, adding depth to the juicy character. The pour is characteristically opaque with a luminous golden glow, supporting a soft, pillowy texture. Refreshing and balanced, the beer showcases massive hop saturation against a gentle, restrained bitterness and a clean, bready malt base, resulting in a cheerful, fruit-forward finish.
Appearance. Straw to deep gold (SRM 3-6); opaque haze with a distinctive luminous sheen. Topped with a medium-to-large, rocky, white meringue-like head featuring high retention and persistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring dominant tropical mango and stone fruit, followed by sharp grapefruit and lime zest. Subtle secondary notes of papaya and fresh herbs are present. Malt is clean and supportive, suggesting fresh dough or light grain, with a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavors of pineapple, citrus, and tropical blend. Low to medium-low bitterness that is soft and never harsh. Malt flavor is low, providing a neutral, bready foundation. The finish is off-dry and smooth, with a lingering, juicy hop aftertaste and no cloying sweetness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky, and plush texture. Carbonation is moderate. Smooth finish with no hop astringency or harshness; very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth may be present.
