This Double IPA is a concentrated sensory experience, defined by a massive hop bill and a luxurious, silky texture. Nectaron and Krush drive intense notes of passion fruit and guava, while Citra and Mosaic contribute bright layers of grapefruit and dark berry. A unique addition of Sabro provides a distinct creamy coconut undertone that integrates seamlessly with the lactose and oat-driven body. Despite its 8.4% strength, the beer maintains a smooth, tropical character where the hop oils dominate. The result is a lush, modern take on the style that emphasizes stone fruit and intense tropicality over sharp bitterness.
Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange (SRM 6-8); dense, persistent white head with excellent lacing; hazy to opaque appearance due to oat and lactose additions.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by passion fruit, peach, and guava; secondary notes of coconut, lime, and blueberry; very low, sweet, grainy malt character in the background with a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors of ripe mango, pineapple, and citrus zest; moderately high bitterness that is perceived as soft rather than harsh; sweet, creamy malt and lactose backbone provides balance; finish is medium-dry with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full to full body with a remarkably smooth, creamy texture; moderate carbonation; noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth; no hop-derived astringency.
