Downtown captures the vibrant, fluid energy of a Hazy IPA with a focus on high drinkability and bright hop expression. Citra hops lead the charge with layers of juicy citrus, while Idaho-7 provides a steady rhythm of stone fruit and distinct tropical depth. The sensory experience is defined by a soft, pillowy texture and a balanced profile that integrates its 6% ABV seamlessly. This modern interpretation offers a massive fruit-forward character without the harsh bitterness of traditional IPAs, resulting in a smooth, rhythmic pour that remains refreshing and approachable through to the clean, fruity finish.

Appearance. Straw to light golden-orange (4-6 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze that provides a characteristic shine. It is topped by a persistent, rocky, white head with excellent retention and meringue-like lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by juicy orange and grapefruit from Citra, supported by the ripe mango, apricot, and faint resinous tropical notes of Idaho-7. Low bready and grainy malt presence remains in the background, while fermentation esters are neutral and supportive.

Taste. Explosive fruity hop flavor echoing the aroma’s citrus and stone fruit profile. Malt flavor is low and lightly bready, serving as a soft canvas for the hops. Bitterness is low to moderate and notably soft, lacking any sharp or harsh edges. The balance is heavily hop-forward with an off-dry, smooth finish that leaves a lingering tropical aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, silky mouthfeel and no perceived astringency. Carbonation is moderate. The 6% alcohol is well-integrated, providing a very subtle, clean warmth without being hot or distracting.
