Oso Brew 100 is an indulgent, dessert-forward Imperial Stout that masterfully captures the essence of a Banoffee Pie. This collaboration with Barrier Brewing brings a New York-inspired intensity to this 10% ABV powerhouse. The sensory experience is dominated by an unctuous, velvety texture, carrying waves of ripe, caramelized banana and rich, buttery toffee. Deeply roasted malts provide a structural backbone of dark chocolate and espresso, preventing the sweet caramel from becoming cloying. The finish is lingering and decadent, blending the warmth of high alcohol with a smooth, luxurious mouthfeel that celebrates a century of brewing craftsmanship through a liquid luxury lens.

Appearance. Opaque jet black (SRM 40). Pours with a thick, dense, dark tan head that exhibits moderate retention and leaves oily legs on the glass, indicating high viscosity.

Aroma. High intensity. The nose is a complex blend of rich roasted malts, featuring notes of bittersweet chocolate and charred grain, overlaid with a prominent aroma of ripe, flambéed banana and sweet liquid caramel. Subtle dark fruit esters like raisins and prunes are present, alongside a gentle, clean alcohol warmth.

Taste. An initial impression of intense sweetness and decadence. Layers of chewy caramel and cooked banana take center stage, supported by a heavy malt base of cocoa, toasted bread, and coffee. Hop bitterness is moderate, providing just enough balance to the sweet adjuncts. The finish is long and sweet, with a persisting aftertaste of Banoffee and roasted malt.

Mouthfeel. Full to very full-bodied with a luscious, creamy, and velvety texture. Carbonation is low to moderate, enhancing the beer's unctuous character. A smooth, well-integrated alcohol warmth is noticeable but pleasant.
