Created in collaboration with the restaurant Tisane, this long-aged ale emphasizes a robust malt backbone while maintaining the signature high attenuation and bone-dry finish characteristic of the style. The aroma is a complex tapestry of peppery phenols and stone fruit esters, supported by a gentle, grainy malt presence. On the palate, a pronounced spicy character takes center stage, interwoven with notes of dried fruit and a subtle, warming alcohol presence that underscores its imperial status without sacrificing drinkability. The extended aging process rounds out the bitterness, resulting in a harmonious, multidimensional sensory experience.

Appearance. Deep amber color with orange highlights. Features a thick, long-lasting, rocky ivory head with excellent lacing. Slightly hazy appearance consistent with its unfiltered nature.

Aroma. High intensity with a complex blend of spicy black pepper phenols and fruity esters of pear and apricot. A moderate, grainy malt character suggests toasted bread, complemented by low, earthy continental hop notes and a clean, light alcohol warmth.

Taste. Initial impression of soft, grainy malt richness that is quickly overtaken by a bold, peppery spiciness and citrus-like esters.
