Appearance. Opaque dark mahogany to near-black with deep ruby highlights at the edges; crowned by a thick, persistent, creamy tan-colored head that leaves dense lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity; prominent notes of freshly roasted Gentle Classic coffee and dark chocolate blend with deep toffee and molasses. Secondary aromas of dark dried fruits, specifically prunes and raisins, are present alongside a clean, vinous alcohol character and a hint of licorice. No hop aroma is detected.
