This Imperial American Porter presents an indulgent sensory profile, amplified by a massive 14% ABV and a triple-mash base. The primary character is defined by thick, dark chocolate and roasted coffee notes, seamlessly integrated with an enormous presence of Canadian maple syrup. Tahitian vanilla provides a floral, cream-like aromatic lift that balances the deep, resinous malt backbone. Despite its strength, the beer retains the soul of an American Porter with a firm roasted bitterness underlying the syrup's richness. Expect a viscous, dessert-like experience where the maple sweetness and alcohol warmth linger long into the finish, creating a decadent, multi-layered profile.

Appearance. SRM 40+; Opaque, deep black with dark garnet highlights at the edges. Head is dark tan with moderate-to-low retention due to high sugar content and alcohol, leaving oily legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromas of rich maple syrup and floral Tahitian vanilla. Supporting layers of dark chocolate, espresso, and toasted bread. Low earthy hop notes and moderate dark fruit esters such as plum and raisin. No acrid or burnt sharpness.

Taste. Initial impression is intensely sweet with heavy maple and vanilla bean flavors. The mid-palate reveals a moderately strong roasted malt character featuring cocoa and charred grain. Hop bitterness is moderate but largely offset by the massive residual sweetness. Finish is long and sweet with a persistent maple aftertaste and a clean, warming alcohol presence.

Mouthfeel. Full, viscous body with a syrupy texture. Carbonation is low to moderately low. Pronounced alcohol warmth that remains smooth and well-integrated. Very low dark malt astringency despite the heavy roast concentration.
