This Hazy IPA offers a vibrant, juice-forward experience characterized by a complex interplay of tropical and stone fruits. The dry-hop combination of Talus and HBC 472 creates a multifaceted profile, where bright pink grapefruit and citrus zest meet unique notes of coconut, vanilla, and a subtle woodiness. A distinct honeydew melon sweetness weaves through the palate, supported by a soft, bready malt base. The fermentation profile is clean yet estery, enhancing the depth of the hop character without overwhelming the senses. It finishes with a gentle, smooth bitterness, embodying the classic juicy New England character.

Appearance. Color is deep straw to light gold (approx. 5 SRM). It presents a uniform, opaque haze with a brilliant shine rather than a murky appearance. The head is medium-high, white, and meringue-like with excellent retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominant with notes of tropical mango, pink grapefruit, and a specific coconut and vanilla sweetness from the HBC 472. There is a perceptible floral rose petal quality from the Talus. The malt is subtle, offering a low, grainy, bready foundation. No caramel or toast is present. Fermentation esters are moderate and fruity, complementing the tropical hop notes.

Taste. The initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit and melon. High hop flavors of grapefruit, coconut, and honeydew are prominent. The malt provides a low, soft, flour-like sweetness that balances the hop charge. Bitterness is low-medium and exceptionally smooth, never harsh. The fermentation character is clean with supportive esters. The finish is off-dry and lingering with a soft, fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. There is a notable smoothness with no astringency or harshness. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated.
