This OneTwo Forest IPA captures the essence of a walk through a coniferous grove. Infused with spruce tips, it layers intense evergreen resin and herbal complexity atop a classic foundation of C-hops. These hops provide sharp grapefruit zest and deep dankness that harmonize with the botanical forest notes. As a quintessential West Coast-style American IPA, the profile is defined by its clean, dry character and assertive bitterness. The spruce adds a unique woody depth to the citrus-forward hop profile, while a lean malt backbone ensures the botanical and resinous elements remain the undisputed stars of this pungent, forest-forward ale.

Appearance. Medium gold in color with brilliant clarity. Pours with a dense, persistent off-white head that leaves significant lacing as it recedes.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant notes of fresh pine resin and earthy spruce tips. Classic C-hops contribute assertive grapefruit and orange rind aromas. Low grainy malt sweetness provides a neutral backdrop, while fermentation remains very clean with no significant esters.

Taste. Assertive initial bitterness. Flavors of resinous pine, herbal spruce, and dankness are prominent, supported by secondary citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit peel. The malt is low and slightly toasty, serving only to support the high hop bitterness. It finishes very dry and clean with a lingering, resinous, and botanical aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively scrub on the palate. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated. No harshness or significant astringency from the spruce additions.
