This formidable American Stout emerges as a decadent indulgence, pushing the style’s boundaries with a robust 10% ABV. A luxurious infusion of dulce de leche provides a deep, caramelized richness that melds seamlessly with the dark chocolate and charred grain of the heavily roasted malts. High-intensity aromatics of fragrant vanilla and the almond-like, spicy warmth of tonka beans lift the sensory profile, creating a complex, dessert-like experience. While the underlying roast provides a firm backbone, the focus remains on a lush, velvety sweetness that coats the palate, concluding with a smooth, warming finish of spice and dark sugar.

Appearance. Jet black (SRM 40); dense, persistent mocha-colored head with excellent lacing; completely opaque.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant aromas of dark chocolate, espresso, and caramelized sugar from dulce de leche; strong spicy notes of tonka resembling cinnamon and almond; floral vanilla; low resiny hop aroma and light alcohol warmth.

Taste. Rich initial impression of bittersweet chocolate and burnt coffee; prominent dulce de leche sweetness provides a heavy caramel mid-palate; woody, spiced tonka and sweet vanilla layers; medium-high bitterness that provides balance against the residual sugar; lingering finish of roasted grain and dark syrup.

Mouthfeel. Full and viscous body; moderate carbonation; noticeable and smooth alcohol warmth; high creaminess and a velvety texture with very low roast-derived astringency.

OneTwo Brewing
Deze brouwerij is gelegen in Roemenië en specialiseerd zich vooral in de frissere bieren. Ze hebben een groot assortiment van allerlei bieren als sours en IPA's. De brouwerij heeft tegenwoordig ook zijn eigen tapkamer in Timisoara, Roemenië.
Metanoia Brewing
Metanoia komt uit Oradea in Roemenië. Daar brouwen ze in een kleine brouwerij hun bieren. Op dit moment hebben zij vooral IPA's en Sours. Ook zijn ze vaak te vinden bij een samenwerking met andere brouwerijen als Bereta Brewing en OneTwo Brewing.
