This American IPA delivers a quintessential West Coast experience, characterized by a bold, resinous hop punch. High-intensity aromatics driven by Chinook, Simcoe, and Cascade offer a sensory landscape of pungent pine needles, grapefruit zest, and subtle woody undertones. The fermentation is exceptionally clean, owing to the use of California Ale yeast, which allows the hop-forward profile to remain unobstructed by heavy esters. A lean, grainy malt backbone provides just enough structure to support the aggressive bitterness before concluding in a bracingly dry, crisp finish. It is a vibrant showcase where citrus brightness meets deep forest resin.

Appearance. Medium gold with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of resinous pine, grapefruit peel, and a hint of damp earth. Malt is low and clean, providing a light cracker-like background. Fermentation profile is extremely clean with no noticeable esters.

Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean bitterness followed by layers of hop flavor. Strong notes of pine sap and citrus rind (grapefruit and lemon) dominate. Malt flavor is low, presenting as toasted grain. Bitterness is high but not harsh. The finish is very dry and crisp with a long, hoppy, and bitter aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp bite. Alcohol warmth is very low and well-integrated.
