This collaborative Double IPA delivers a high-impact sensory experience, driven by an intensive hop regimen. The inclusion of Oats and Spelt creates a dense, velvety texture, while a high density hop charge of Citra provides a deep citrus foundation. Motueka SubZero Hop Kief and Vic Secret contribute vibrant layers of lime zest, crushed passion fruit, and tropical pineapple. On the nose, expect an explosion of stone fruit and citrus oils, transitioning into a lush, saturated palate. Despite its 8% strength, the beer remains remarkably integrated, merging modern hop techniques with a smooth, lingering finish that defines this bold, hazy exploration of flavor.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (8-10 SRM) with a pronounced haze. Pours with a thick, persistent white head that leaves dense, sticky lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring dominant notes of tropical mango, pineapple, and zesty lime. Supportive, clean, grainy malt character from the use of Oats and Spelt is evident. Fermentation is clean with very light stone fruit esters and a hint of smooth alcohol.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of grapefruit, passion fruit, and bright lime citrus. The malt profile is soft and unobtrusive, providing a bready, slightly nutty backbone. Bitterness is firm but remains smooth and lacks harshness. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, saturated hop resin and tropical fruit aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a noticeably creamy and 'chonky' texture. Carbonation is moderate. Contains a restrained, smooth alcohol warmth consistent with its strength, with no hop-derived astringency.
