"Switch Up" is a decadent Wild Specialty Beer that redefines the kettle-sour profile with an indulgent pastry-inspired focus. A massive double dose of Australian blueberry juice and concentrate drives a vibrant, jammy core, while a malt biscuit and cookie dough base provides a rich, doughy backbone. Aromas of French vanilla and ripe banana weave through the dark berry notes, creating a complex blueberry cookie dough profile. The heavy addition of lactose ensures a luscious, creamy texture that balances the bright, clean lactic acidity. This is a bold, fruit-forward experience where dessert-like sweetness meets a refreshing, tart finish.
Appearance. Opaque and deeply saturated royal purple to violet in color. Pours with a thick, frothy, lilac-tinted head that exhibits moderate lacing and fair retention for the style.
