One Drop Brewing Co

This Wild Specialty Beer is a decadent sensory assault, defined by an overwhelming addition of 420 grams of strawberries per liter. The aroma is an intense rush of jammy, sun-ripened fruit interwoven with a sharp, puckering lactic acidity and a subtle, funky complexity from the wild fermentation. On the palate, the sheer density of the strawberry presence creates a lush, fruit-forward experience, balanced by a surprisingly robust malt backbone and a distinct alcoholic warmth from its significant 10.5% ABV. A doubled hop charge adds a hidden layer of structural complexity, leading to a lingering, tart, and deeply fruity finish.

Appearance. Opaque, deep ruby to vibrant magenta hue with a thick, pink-tinted head. Head retention is moderate to low, common for high-ABV fruited ales, leaving light staining on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of fresh, jammy strawberries and fruit preserves. Complemented by a sharp, clean lactic acidity and a subtle earthy funk. A light floral hop note and sweet ethanol are present in the background.
