Built on a foundation of premium New Zealand malted barley, oats, and rolled spelt, the beer delivers a lush, velvety texture that supports an explosion of southern hemisphere hop character. A trio of Kiwi-grown cones—Southern X, Motueka, and Peacharine™—drives the aromatic profile, bursting with intense notes of ripe stone fruit, zesty lime, and tropical pineapple. The palate reflects this juicy intent, offering a soft, fruit-forward experience that balances a delicate malt sweetness with a restrained, smooth bitterness. The finish is clean and approachable, leaving a lingering impression of sun-ripened peaches and citrus zest.
Appearance. Straw to gold (SRM 3-6) with a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head exhibiting high retention. The beer displays a substantial, uniform haze with a characteristic matte shine, free from visible yeast clumps or hop particulates.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics of peach, nectarine, and lime zest courtesy of the Peacharine™ and Motueka hops. Subtle lemon and pine notes from the Southern X provide depth. The malt presents a clean, bready, and grainy character from the oats and spelt, while the fermentation profile remains neutrally fruity.
Taste. Initial impression is waves of juicy tropical fruit and stone fruit. High hop flavor mirrors the aroma, focusing on peach and lime citrus. Malt flavor is low to medium with a soft, grainy sweetness. Bitterness is low to moderate, well-masked by the grain bill, leading to a soft, off-dry, and smooth finish without any hop harshness.
