This vibrant Wild Specialty Beer pours a deep, opaque magenta, signaling a lavish infusion of dragon fruit pulp and fresh cherry juice. The aroma is an intense bouquet of guava and sun-ripened strawberry purée, layered over a plush, vanilla-laced marshmallow sweetness. On the palate, a bold house lactic acidity provides a sharp counterpoint to the heavy lactose and silky, oat-laden body. The wheat-heavy base supports a decadent, pastry-like texture, while the finish lingers with a playful blend of tart red fruit and creamy white marshmallow. It is a viscous, dessert-leaning sour that balances bold tropical fruit with a soft, indulgent mouthfeel.
Appearance. Opaque and smoothie-like with a brilliant deep pink to magenta hue. Produces a dense, creamy, pink-tinted head with moderate retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant notes of tropical guava and sweet strawberry pulp are balanced by a sharp, clean lactic tang. Secondary notes of sugary marshmallow and vanilla cream emerge, with no perceptible hop aroma.
Taste. Initial punch of tart cherry and tangy dragon fruit, followed quickly by a wave of dessert-like sweetness from the lactose and marshmallow conditioning. The oat-heavy base provides a subtle bready malt back-end. Bitterness is non-existent, allowing the sour-sweet interplay to dominate. The finish is long and jammy with a lingering creamy sweetness.
Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and viscous with a distinctively thick, pulpy texture. Carbonation is moderate to keep the heavy body from feeling cloying. Alcohol warmth is very low and well-integrated. High creaminess with no perceived astringency.
