This post-modern American IPA presents an exceptionally bright sensory experience, driven by hand-selected Riwaka and NZ Cascade. The Riwaka leads with an intense, dank punch of pink grapefruit and passionfruit, reminiscent of fresh hops pulled straight from the bine bag. NZ Cascade provides a supportive floral and lime-citrus lift. A simple malt backbone ensures a clean, lean platform, allowing the signature Clean Fusion dry-hopping to deliver maximum aromatic impact without distraction. Fermented with a super-clean, neutral yeast, the profile remains laser-focused on hop expression. It finishes crisp, decidedly bitter, and refreshingly dry, embodying a refined West Coast IPA spirit.
Appearance. Medium gold (7 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a dense, off-white head that shows excellent persistence and leaves intricate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent passionfruit, pink grapefruit, and a light resinous dankness. Low, grainy-sweet malt supports the hops. Exceptionally clean fermentation profile with no yeast-derived esters.
Taste. High hop flavor of tropical fruit and citrus zest. Low grainy maltiness provides a brief initial sweetness before a firm, assertive bitterness takes over. Very dry finish with a lingering hoppy and clean bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, crisp texture. Moderate-high carbonation. No harshness or astringency, featuring a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
