Omnipollo Trismegistus Triple IPA
Omnipollo's Trismegistus is a colossal, modern expression of a Double IPA, pushing the boundaries of the style into triple-strength territory. Crafted with a wealth of the juiciest, most pungent hops, it unleashes an abyssal, saturated storm of ripe mango, passionfruit, and sticky resin. The clean base malt remains highly supportive and unobtrusive, allowing the massive hop profile to dominate without the heavy, cloying maltiness of a barleywine. It finishes remarkably dry and crisp, balancing a firm bitterness with a smooth, well-integrated alcohol warmth that highlights its vibrant, yeast-driven fruitiness and immense drinkability.
Appearance. Deep gold to light amber in color, displaying a moderate, enticing haze. Crowned by a dense, persistent, off-white head that leaves thick, sticky lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Intense, pungent aroma of modern tropical hops, heavily featuring ripe mango, passionfruit, pink grapefruit, and resinous pine. A clean, subtle, neutral malt sweetness rests in the background, complemented by a soft, clean hint of alcohol.
Taste. An explosion of juicy tropical fruit, citrus zest, and piney hop flavors. Bitterness is high but exceptionally smooth, avoiding any harsh or grassy bite. The malt flavor is highly subdued and neutral, leading into a dry, crisp finish with a long, lingering, hoppy and pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate to high. Delivers a noticeable, clean alcohol warmth that is well-integrated and free of hot, solventy burn, with zero astringency.
