This Imperial Stout presents an opulent sensory journey, merging the robust backbone of dark malts with a decadent pastry-inspired profile. An intense bouquet of bittersweet chocolate and espresso is elevated by an obscene addition of pistachios, offering a unique earthy nuttiness. Toasted coconut and vanilla lend a creamy, tropical sweetness that softens the roasty edges, while rich caramel notes deepen the malt complexity. At 10.5% ABV, it carries a smooth, integrated warmth. The palate is viscous and velvety, coating the tongue with layers of dark cocoa, toasted nut oils, and a lingering, luxurious finish characteristic of an expertly crafted modern collaboration.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque. It pours with a dense, dark brown head with moderate retention and leaves significant lacing on the glass. High viscosity is apparent through noticeable legs.

Aroma. High intensity and complex. Strong aromas of dark chocolate and roasted coffee are layered with prominent toasted coconut and sweet vanilla bean. A distinct earthy pistachio character is present alongside rich caramel sweetness and subtle dark fruit esters of prune and raisin. Alcohol is noticeable but smooth.

Taste. A complex mix of bittersweet chocolate, heavy roast, and espresso. The palate is significantly influenced by toasted coconut and vanilla, creating a creamy dessert-like character. Savory pistachio and buttery caramel provide depth, balancing the moderately high bitterness. The finish is lingering and bittersweet with a pleasant alcohol warmth and toasted nut aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Very full-bodied and chewy with a velvety, luscious texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A smooth, gentle alcohol warmth is present and well-integrated into the thick body.
