This monumental Imperial Stout emerges from a twenty-six-month slumber in wheat and rye whiskey barrels, presenting an incredibly viscous, saturated profile. The collaborative influence of Omnipollo, 3 Sons, and Bottle Logic results in an intense sensory experience defined by deep fudgy coconut and a distinct spirit-forward character. Toasted coconut notes intertwine with the spice of rye whiskey, creating a decadent praline-like complexity. The sheer magnitude of the malt base supports massive layers of dark chocolate and caramel, while the extended aging rounds out the sharp edges of the high alcohol, leaving a rich, dessert-like impression that lingers long after each sip.
Appearance. Jet black and opaque (40+ SRM). Pours with a deep dark brown head that dissipates quickly into a thin collar; significant legs and high viscosity are visible on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity. Rich, complex blend of roasted grain, bittersweet chocolate, and cocoa. Significant toasted coconut and spirituous whiskey notes dominate, supported by vanilla, caramel, and a hint of spicy rye. Low dark fruit esters like fig and prune.
Taste. Intense initial impression of dark chocolate fudge and toasted coconut. Deeply toasty malt flavors with caramel and vanillin complexity from the oak. The rye whiskey adds a spicy counterpoint to the heavy residual sweetness. Bitterness is moderate but masked by the dense body. The finish is long, sweet, and warming with a praline aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Full to very full-bodied; thick, chewy, and velvety. Low carbonation. Significant but smooth alcohol warmth reflecting the high ABV. Creamy and saturated texture.

On this beer we had the immense pleasure of working with two of the absolute best—3 sons brewing out of Florida and Bottle Logic out of California.
Andromeda is big, bold, thick and saturated with toasted coconut and wheat/rye whiskey. We love it dearly. The 2023 version has been resting for 26 months before packaging.
Poured into a tulip this beer moves slow. Hard pour for deep dark foam that dissipates quickly into spirit whiff and deep fudgy coconut. Savor like a praline.
