The Five Friends are a blend of Kingston Black, Michelin, Yarlington Mill, Dabinett and Foxwhelp. The blend is 80% tank and 20% barrel fermented and matured. Harvested from 2018 and 2019.

Description The Five Friends are Kingston Black at 60% by volume and is a bittersharp, Michelin at 18%, a soft bittersweet, Yarlington Mill and Dabinett both bittersweets at 9% and finally Foxwhelp a sharp at 4%. The blend is 80% tank and 20% barrel fermented and matured. Harvested from 2018 and 2019.

A bright, copper gold cider. On the nose sweet spicey notes and ripe red fleshed apples as you walk through an orchard in late autumn, crunching wayward apples under foot. Tasting of juicy, over ripe red fleshed apples with spice. Prickly volatiles keep the fruit fresh and the barrel and smoke emerge to give a full mouthfeel. Slight sourness plus the expected astringency and bitterness keep this very moreish. 330ml. 6.8%

Still Bone Dry Cider

 

A fully dry, yet accessible cider, fit for any table! It's  is a blend of five renowned traditional cider apple varieties: Kingston Black (a bittersharp - 60%), Michelin (a soft bittersweet - 16%), Yarlington Mill & Dabinett (both bittersweets - 9%), & finally Foxwhelp (a sharp - 4%). 


A bright, copper gold cider. On the nose: sweet & spicy notes. On the palate: prickly volatiles keep the fruit fresh, & the barrel & smoke emerge to give a full mouthfeel. Slight sourness plus an expected astringency & bitterness that keep this very moreish.  Fermented with wild yeasts & matured both in tanks & barrels.
