This Alternative Sugar Beer presents a radiant golden hue, leading with a fragrant bouquet of wildflower honey and delicate floral accents. The addition of real honey is masterfully integrated, layering soft nectar-like sweetness over a clean, cracker-like malt base. At 6.9% ABV, it carries a sophisticated presence that balances the honey’s richness without becoming cloying. Appearance. Deep golden (SRM 5-7) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a moderate, creamy white head that shows fair retention and leaves light lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity floral honey notes dominate, reminiscent of wildflowers and honeycomb. Beneath the honey, a clean malt profile provides hints of toasted crackers and white bread. Hop aroma is very low, with a faint herbal touch, allowing the honey-derived aromas to shine.

Taste. Initial impression is of honeyed sweetness and floral nectar. The mid-palate reveals a sturdy malt backbone with notes of biscuit and light honey-drizzled grain. Hop bitterness is low, providing just enough structure to prevent a cloying sensation. The finish is notably sweet and pleasant, with the honey character lingering gracefully into the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium to medium-full body with a smooth, slightly velvety texture enhanced by the honey addition. Carbonation is moderate, providing a gentle prickle that cleanses the palate. A subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
